I have looked at the trop annual plan and am sure it will create a lot of great Scouting in the next year. For Rick and the adult leaders and the two of the PLC that were in attendance at the Troop Annual Planning Conference, your work as paid off. For those members of the PLC that were not at the Conference, I am sure that your reasons for not being there were very good ones, but the Annual Program Planning Conference is probably the most important one for you to be at all year long. Because you were not there will make it more difficult for the PLC, in general, and you in particulr to make the program happen during the year. The next most important meeting for memebers of the PLC to be in attendance is the monthly PLC meetings. If you have to miss any of those, it is your responsibiblity to get with Rick or another PLC memeber to find out what is going on and if you have any responsibilities. The same is true of troop meetings. The adult leaders and the troop committee can and will support the program plan you have chosen, but whether it actually happens will be entirely up to the PLC. Make sure you do your part. A leadership position in the troop is more than just sewing a leadership badge on the sleeve of your Scout shirt. If any or all of the program plan does not happen, you (the members of the PLC) have only yourselves to blame.

If the PLC does its job, Scouting is an adventure!!! If you don't, it can quickly become an inconveniece for the rest of the troop, both Scouts and adults.
